Abdominoplasty

Circumferential Abdominoplasty
This surgery is usually performed on patients who have lost a significant amount of weight and end up with a lot of loose skin around the abdomen and back of the abdomen. The surgeon makes an incision that extends around the waistline to remove excess skin and fat in this area. In many cases, it is recommended to combine abdominoplasty with liposuction to slim the trunk of the body and contour the abdomen, waist and flank area. These procedures are usually done on an outpatient basis, but the patient has the option of choosing to stay in the hospital for 24 hours if they wish. Recovery time varies from 1 to 2 weeks, but you should always avoid strenuous exercise for the first 6 weeks after your surgery.

Mini Abdominoplasty
It removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen, as long as it does not extend above the navel. Ideal for patients who only have small rolls. A 4- or 5-inch incision is made just above the pubic hair, using local or general anesthesia. The procedure should not take more than an hour, and the results are extremely satisfactory.

Complete Abdominoplasty
It is a surgery designed to improve the three components that define the aesthetics of the abdomen. Excess skin, excessive fat, and also laxity of the muscles can affect it. In this procedure, the abdominal muscles are strengthened and excess fatty tissue and skin are removed. A transverse incision is made at the lower abdominal level so that it is concealed with a bathing suit or underwear. To reshape the navel, Dr. Busquets makes the sutures from the inside, achieving a natural navel. Once the surgery is performed correctly, you will have a reduced abdomen.
